Industrial equipment oils can become contaminated after use for various reasons. Such contaminations can arise from corrosion, wear, heating-cooling cycles, or contact with other pollutants.

Companies must manage their “waste oil” outputs in a manner that does not harm the environment or human health. In this context, industrial facilities and all waste oil producers must comply with the “Regulation on Control of Waste Oils” published in the Official Gazette No. 26952, dated 30.07.2008, issued by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.

According to the regulation, waste oils are classified based on the analyses specified in Appendix-1 of the regulation, and each category undergoes specific recycling or disposal processes.

TESTMER Measurement and Testing Services Inc. performs the analysis of Appendix-1 parameters in our laboratory.
